Which cookies we use and when

We measure visits with Google Analytics 4, from Google Ireland Limited, to find out how many people view each page and how they get to it, so that we can improve the website. It only loads if you press “Accept” on the cookie banner. Until then, your browser asks Google’s servers for nothing and no cookie is set.

We do not use advertising or ad personalisation cookies, tracking pixels or social media tools: we switch those Google Analytics features off. If JavaScript is turned off in your browser, the website does not load Google Analytics.

How to change your choice

You can accept or reject analytics cookies whenever you wish with the “Cookie settings” button in the footer or with this one:

If you withdraw your consent, we delete the analytics cookies from your browser and we do not load Google Analytics again. We remember your choice for 12 months; after that, we will ask you again. You can also delete cookies from your browser’s settings.

Data that Google receives

If you accept, your browser sends Google data about your visit, such as the page you view, where you come from, your browser, your language and your approximate location. Google may process it outside the European Economic Area, with the safeguards required by the GDPR. We explain this in the privacy policy.

What may change

  • The app. When you sign in to the SiteNorma app, on its own domain, we will use a technical cookie to maintain your session. It is strictly necessary to provide the service you request, so it does not require consent under Article 22(2) of the LSSI-CE (Spain's Information Society Services Act).
  • Anti-bot verification. Once we activate the forms, to prevent abuse they will ask your browser to solve a small calculation with our own server (ALTCHA). It does not use cookies, stores nothing in your browser and does not rely on any third-party service.
  • The Accessibility Centre. Once it exists, the panel that our customers install on their websites will store each person's preferences in their browser's local storage, without cookies or tracking.

How to check

You can see this for yourself in your browser’s developer tools: with this website open and without having accepted, the list of cookies will be empty. You will only see the sitenorma-consent entry in local storage, and only after you have chosen an option.
