Accessibility statement

Our own statement, with what we have done and what we still have to do. Draft dated 25 September 2026.

Draft pending legal review

This text is a draft and is not final yet. A lawyer will review it. The owner’s identifying details are already filled in.

Gassiot & Llobet is committed to making its website accessible. As a private company, we are not subject to Royal Decree 1112/2018, but we publish this statement voluntarily, following the model in Implementing Decision (EU) 2018/1523.

This statement applies to the website https://sitenorma.com. It does not cover the SiteNorma app, which will have its own statement.

Compliance status

Pending full evaluation. Our goal is to meet WCAG 2.2 at level AA: these are the web requirements of the EN 301 549 v4.1.1 standard. We have not yet completed an evaluation of all the criteria, so we do not claim any level of conformance.

What we have done so far

  • Designing the website with semantic HTML: landmark regions, a single main heading per page, properly ordered headings and the “Skip to content” link.
  • Automatically checking, every time we publish, that all pages have a title, a language, a single h1, headings without skipped levels, unique identifiers, images with alternative text, labelled fields and working internal links.
  • Verifying the contrast of all colour combinations, in both light and dark themes, with our own minimum of 7:1 for body text.
  • Using a visible focus indicator, targets of at least 24 × 24 pixels and a layout that adapts to a width of 320 pixels without horizontal scrolling.
  • Respecting the preference for reduced motion, with no carousels or content that plays automatically.
  • Scanning every page with our own engine on every change. The automated tests find no failures, although they only cover part of the criteria.

What remains to be done

  • A full manual review of the 55 WCAG 2.2 level A and AA success criteria.
  • Tests with screen readers, such as NVDA and VoiceOver, and with screen magnification.

Non-accessible content

These are the limitations we know of:

  • The free tools (contrast checker, questionnaire and statement generator) need JavaScript. Without it, we show the main information as text, but not the calculation.
  • The formulas on the methodology page use MathML. Some screen readers may not read them correctly, so each formula comes with a text explanation.
  • Some wide tables need horizontal scrolling on small screens. They can be scrolled with the keyboard.

Preparation of this statement

This statement was prepared on 25 September 2026 as a draft. The method used was a self-assessment. Last reviewed: 25 September 2026. We will review it at least once a year and whenever we make significant changes to the website.

Enforcement procedure

As we are a private company not subject to Royal Decree 1112/2018, the complaints procedure before an Accessibility Unit (Unidad responsable de accesibilidad) does not apply to us. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the consumer protection bodies or the bodies that defend the rights of persons with disabilities in your autonomous community.

Optional content

The website is built with static HTML and CSS, without frameworks. JavaScript only adds progressive enhancements, such as the drop-down menu on small screens and the tools. We do not use accessibility overlays. Google Analytics only loads if you accept cookies, and the cookie banner can be operated with a keyboard.
